Travelling
June 10
I stayed overnight in the Wal-Mart lot again. In the morning I went over to the Social Security office, and they verified that I would get my June payment on July 3rd. They also verified that Micah and Miriam would be eligible for their portion of the whole family disbursement, which works out to some $00 for them a month.
So, now I just have to figure out how to get by until the 3rd on the $60 I have. Lodging is essentially free, but there is some expense in driving about.
June 11
I pulled a shelf out of a closet in the RV that was keeping my suits from hanging, and wrinkling them. It wasn't the simplest thing I've ever done, but with my trusty hammer, I got it done. I installed the shelf across the back of the washroom, covering the windows that the manufacturer left in the rear doors. So, not the plastic blinds that were on their last legs anyway are superfluous, and my suits can hang properly and not be wrinkled when I need one.
You know, I find it very strange that I have 4 suits and 3 suit jackets, and rarely have occasion to wear a suit these days. Left over from better times, when I was a professional and needed to look the part. Along with a couple dozen ties.
I checked in with a loan officer, as I expected, with my slew of bad credit and no positive credit stuff, it would be very hard to get a loan. So, I think I will be doing the empty lot for $600 life lease, and building a home myself bit by bit as I have energy and money.
The first steps, of course, are electricity, a well, septic, and a parking pad for the RV. Then we see about setting up something for co-generation, because I am independant minded. But one step at a time.
